Join the Rebellion! (Or Don't, Y'know Cos They Suck)
So last time we explored what it will what it will be like to wield the ultimate power of the Imperial Navy, bringing powerful but slow ships into battle and winning through sheer crippling force. However Armada is shaping up to be as diverse as it is magical (cue fanboyism), and below are a couple of ship builds that I think could cause some serious problems for even the most experienced of Imperial tacticians.

X-Wing Tournament Report
What a weekend! TommyH and I attended a 100 point X-Wing tournament down here in Sydney. It was a great day with 15 players in total (that is great for X-Wing). Here was what I took:

Australian X-Wing National Championship Results
What a weekend! After powering through the drive on Friday night,
we all arrived down in Canberra for a weekend of X-Wing! Our national tournament
drew 53 players (WOW) from all corners of Australia. We met a great group of
guys, and all had a blast. The full results haven’t been released yet, but they
are coming soon for sure.

Australian X-Wing Nationals on this weekend
The weekend of X-Wing Nationals is finally upon us! The boys and I will be heading down to Canberra to try our luck at the national event. So far there are 49 players PAID for (Wow), and I half expect there to be an additional 10 turn up on the day!
It is really shaping up to be a great event. We are planning on giving a video of it all a go as well.
So stay tuned, as when the weekend is over, perhaps one of the team will be the Australian X-Wing champion!
- Out.

X-Wing News: Stay On Target Revealed
Yeah! A great new upgrade designed by one of the world champions. I agree with FFG in them saying the Wave 5 release is going to shake up the whole game.
Can't wait!

Video Intro's to X-Wing
Not sure what X-Wing is all about? Check these out:

They are pretty good overviews, and outline the core principles of the game in a VERY short time.

Can triple B-Wing builds still work?
B-Wings are cool, and my normal list with them is three with Advanced Sensors and Heavy Laser Cannons. Before Wave-4, these guys were great. The sensors made them insanely good in a close-knit dog fight, and the 4 constant shots was horrifically good against most of what was out there. However, with the release of the Phantom and Defender, things have become a bit....awkward.
