Time to talk some more guard options. I wouldn't say that it's a hugely competitive option for your army, but it might be worth considering against your mates or in a tournament that is on a 4x4 board.

DKK: Death Rider Unit Breakdown.
In my opinion, Death Riders are one of the best units in 40k. Okay, so they die pretty horrendously to Broadsides ignoring cover, but what doesn't these days? Let's look at Death Riders in focus, and see what we can do with them.

Stormlord and Heavy Weapon Teams.
Hmm, interesting on for Guard players. Heavy Weapon teams rarely see use these days, they are just too vulnerable. However, what about sticking them in a Stormlord?

Rumour Watch: Even more Imperial Guard!
Hmm, we have had two guard rumours this week. This one slightly more promising/reliable than the first.

Ethereal Snatch, The Campaign Begins!
Siceralc - Over the last few weeks most of us have been playing the meta pretty hard, and we've decided to give it a break and indulge our desire for fluff. What follows is the first of several scenarios we plan on playing over the next few months, and we hope to develop the games as we go along. The suggestion has also been made that we flesh out these scenarios with some narrative fluff, so with no further adieu I give you Part One of the Perdus Rift Campaign, story and battle report.

Battle report: Eldar & Tau Empire Vs CSM & Dark Eldar & Imperial Guard
That picture defines perfectly the thoughts of everyone around the table during this game. It was a great game, epic I would say, full of randomness, crazy moves, lots of luck (good and bad), insane rolls but especially, fun.

Imperial Guard Artillery: A.K.A. That's a lot of templates.
Artillery. What a sweet word. Conjuring images of bouncing bunnies, flowering fields and bubbling brooks all exploding into showers of mulicoloured debris. Today I'd like to talk about some of the artillery pieces available to you as an Imperial Guard player, and why you can always find room to fit one in.

The Sound Of Machine Tutorial: Painting Traitor Guard
Traitor Guard - Painting Tutorial.
Well, here you go, a bit of a step by step of how I painted the Traitor
Guard army. The project took a few weeks due to other painting
commitments and uni, but could easily be condensed into a fortnight of
hard slog to get a similar army.

So You Want To Join The Imperial Guard
Hello and welcome to what hopefully will be a concise guide to some of the most important aspects of an Imperial Guard army. My name is Siceralc and as the resident Imperial Guard player it falls to me to offer some opinions and advice on how to enjoyably, if not always successfully, play this wonderful soul destroying army.

Doubles Tournament: Summary.
What a hilarious day. We managed to score overall joint second, best painted and best sportsmen but it was decided that winning all three awards would be unfair so we were awarded with overall 3rd and best painted. I didn't mind the decision as we walked away with $70 worth of vouchers.

Doubles list design
List design: Doubles mischief.
Today I want to talk about how Alasdair and I designed our
lists for the doubles match that can be found here:
http://40kwarzone.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/battle-report-eldarspace-marines-vs.html
We designed our lists for an upcoming doubles tournament that
we were determined to win. The last doubles that we attended was a disaster (although we
did win best sports?) as we managed to come third last due to both of our
forces not coherently working with each other. With another doubles tournament
around the corner, we turned back to rethinking what we really needed to win.

Battle report: Eldar/Space Marines Vs Dark Eldar/Imperial Guard
This is the first battle report for the blog, and we didn't have time to arrange everything we wanted for it, so it's gonna be a "light" battle report. We didn't get any pictures or anything as we wanted to record the game, so we could remember every single detail about the game, and be very specific with what happened on it, so basically, I'm gonna post the armies, short story about the game, and highlights.
Players: Chris/Ruben Vs Alex/Alasdair (CR and AA in the report)
