Been thinking about how to make some more hardcore lists. After some discussion amongst the council, I came up with this for 1850:
Eldar Primary:
SpiritSeer.
Wave Serpent/Scatter.
Wave Serpent/Scatter.
Wave Serpent/Scatter.
Wave Serpent/Scatter.
Wraithknight
Wraithknight
White Scars ally:
Captain/Bike/Combi-Grav.
5 Bikes/2 Gravs/Combi-Grav.
5 Bikes/2 Gravs/Combi-Grav.
(Fast Attack) 5 Bikes/2 Gravs/Combi-Grav.
I like to call it the "gravity hammer" list.
Thoughts?
I started pricing this list using FW Legion jet-bikes, I have to say I am super interested!
ReplyDeleteAssuming you have 5 dire avengers in each wave serpent.
ReplyDeleteBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING
ReplyDeleteWell you already know my opinion of your straight serpent list. Gotta say this is just one more step down the path to the ultimate goal of absolutely no one wanting to play you ever haha
ReplyDeleteThat's gonna upset a lot of MCs on foot! What are your plans for flyers? Presumably wraithknights handle high AV targets?
ReplyDeleteWave Serpents would just annihilate flyers by glancing them to death, with everything twin-linked something's going to stick.
DeleteAs for high AV, 10 grav weapons? Only need 2 6's (the first causes immobilised and takes a hull point, the second takes TWO hull points) on the armour pen rolls and that's an AV14 Leman Russ gone, 3 for Land Raiders because of their extra hull point.
Really solid list, and I'd give it my best shot, but I'd call him an asshole all the same.
check main book FAQ, does not strip double hull points, as you do the effect, not roll on the chart
