Well, we have a game this Thursday that is gonna be Eldar & Space Marines VS Dark Eldar & Imperial Guard. Each army is gonna have a cap of 750 points, so I thought I couldn't use my favourite HQ, Captain Lysander, as he cost just by himself 200 points. So I decided to get one of the cheapest HQ of my army, a Chaplain. And as I had last Monday off at work, I decided to paint it for the game. This is the result:
Once again, I decided to base the miniature with cork and sand. This time I tried to use more pieces, so I could position him in a little bit of an angle, and instead of doing his armor shiny clean, I made it dirty, like you can see in his feet, although not so much dirt in the rest of the character.
I know all the Chaplains are normally painted in black, but I wanted to do something different, and I was with the idea of painting some of my miniatures in Silver, so I tried with this one for the first time, and I was actually pretty happy with the final result.
