Guardians of Alstwe

Some pictures of my growing Craftworld

20 Guardians with Farseer and 2 Shuriken Cannons

Gun Platform, with added White on Ruben's suggestion

Farseer and Squad Leader Ariel

The final two guardians have parts from the Dire Avenger set to make them look less like crewmen and more like Guardians.

Overall I am happy with the result. On Ruben's advice I added some white to the colour scheme, which makes them look a lot better. Next up are some Scorpions, Hawks and Spiders, before I assemble my new Wave Serpent (If it ever arrives) and Dire Avengers. All comments are greatly appreciated!!

PS: If anyone can tell my how to remove the damn date from these pictures without cropping them, that would be great.

  1. THeyre looking good. Seems like you used Nuln Oil wash on them. Use better a blue glaze, they work better. Also, try to work a little bit more in your highlights and you will nail it. Keep the good work ;)

    1. I used Draganoff Nightshade to shade them. I don't do as many highlights on guardians as there are so many of them! Thanks for the feedback!

  2. Looking good, are you going to paint and texture the bases? I don't spend heaps of time on the bases but I think adding so sand/grit and painting them makes them look heaps better and ties the army together - especially Eldar who have the different coloured Aspects.

You should be able to remove the time on the images by changing the settings on your camera - it'll probably be something about a timestamp.

    1. They willl have white snowy bases, which ties them together. My Tau also haved snowy bases, but slightly lighter, so the two look good when allied.

Thanks for the help on the time!
