Eldar: Corsair test list. Opinions?
I've been thinking a lot about Corsair's lately and how I would run them. It's not necessarily something that would win tournaments, just an alternative style of play.
Here is my proposed 1850 point list using the Iyanden Supplement.
HQ:
Farseer. Spirit Stone + Jet Bike + Singing Spear OR Autarch.
Spirit Seer.
Corsair Prince: Shadowfield + Power Lance + Jet Pack.
Troops: 1054.
5 Wraithguard: D-Scythes.
5 Wraithguard.
5 Dire Avengers: Wave Serpent w/ twin-linked Scatter Laser.
5 Dire Avengers: Wave Serpent w/ twin-linked Scatter Laser.
10 Eldar Corsairs: 2 Flamers, 2 Shuriken Cannons, Jetpacks and Felarch.
10 Eldar Corsairs: 2 Flamers, 2 Shuriken Cannons, Jetpacks and Felarch.
Fast Attack:
NightWing Interceptor.
NightWing Interceptor.
Heavy Support:
Fire Prism: Spirit Stones.
Basically, the Prince gives both Wraith Guard unit's and the Spirit Seer deep strike. Attach both the Prince and Spirit seer to the D-Sycthe unit, hopefully drop them in (you can always find points for to get a comms relay by dropping a Serpent), cast Battle Focus with the Spirit Seer and enjoy flaming stuff to death. With majority toughness 6 and the Prince out front tanking hits with his Shadowfield, the unit can survive quite a bit.
It's not the strongest of lists out there but it would be pretty dam awesome to play. Could also work with Tau/Corsairs with Farsight (no scatter off deep strike in a big unit of Wraithguard with flamers).
Thoughts?
