Yet another blogger

Hi all

I'm not sure if it's because Ruben played his first full game against me or if it's because I let his Sternguard wipe out half of my army - either way, I've been asked to contribute to this blog.

I started collecting Eldar around 20 years ago and I have some really nice metal Eldar Guardians to show for it. Needless to say, I was just a kid and so didn't really have a good grasp on either the painting or gaming.

Jump forward 20 years and after playing Dawn of War, I got back into the hobby. I dusted off the old models, gave them a new paint-job and heading into GW Sydney to learn the new rules. I have had to buy new models to be able to compete - there's something sad about seeing Howling Banshees running across the battlefield and getting mown down by bolter fire - but slowly my Eldar army has grown.

I enjoy playing games (and have even won once or twice) but I spend more time modelling and painting. I have recently started creating a small Ork force which is a completely different army both in terms of painting and tactics. As I finish new pieces, I'll post them here for review.

To start us off, I have just finished painting an old Howling Banshee Exarch that I have converted to have an Executioner.

  1. It looks awesome. I believe I haven't killed that miniature with my Space Marines yet...
