Shot of Imperial Knight unpainted.

 Hmm, looks fairly small actually.

  1. Being held in one hand it looks ickle.

One of my mates nabbed a Dreamforge Leviathan Crusader from Nick Eyre's North Star Military Figures site when he inexplicably started selling them for £40 (didn't last long, especially after I spread the word on Faeit).

Anyway, the base the Crusader comes on, which is circular, would take two of those oval bases with only a centimetre or two of overlap. On paper we thought the Crusader might be an inch taller, but looking at this pic it strikes me as being much much bulkier.

I look forward to a side by side comparison at some stage.

    2. Additionally, gw originally said the knight was 8 inches, but changed that to 6" soon after. The crusader stands at 8.5", just an inch and a half shorter than a warhound titan (and severly better looking)

  2. It does look disappointingly small. Funny how they said it was 8" at first, then after we've seen it, it was really only 6".

It's not the size of the model that matters, but how you use it.
